6/25/2018 Week 34: 6 More Days Until The Mission Change
Hello everyone. Not much happened this week. We just worked. My companion had his birthday. I have celebrated every single companions birthday while serving with them. So I have learned to party. I also made homemade blue Berry bread. Then ate it cause I am a pig. I am getting fed a lot. This ward cares about us. It's to the point we're I have gain 5 more pounds. The corn crop is half way almost fully grown. They planted it last month. Also I built a chicken coupe so that was interesting. I got to play with the chickens. Then the member we helped build that took us to apple bees for lunch. I helped him install a bunch of software on his computer while we were waiting for our food. I got the potato soup. We also had 2 amazing lessons with our most progressing investigators. They came to church and are planning to be baptized next month hopefully. I am also eating chef boyardee, and it's gross but I am hungry and don't care. Lol. I have a really good district. Picture below. They are all super committed missionaries and really good people. We had to print of pictures today to put in the mission scrap book. It's kinda sad. But what can I do about it. Also the new Preach my Gospel came out on LDS.org. I read a little bit of it and I do say it is interesting to see what they changed. It's not out in other languages yet. But it is coming soon. That's basically all for this week. And if anyone has questions they can just email me. Talk to yall later. Bye!

6/18/2018 Week 33: Happy Father's Day... Yesterday
I was the only missionary who didn't post anything on Facebook about fathers day and I feel kinda guilty. But I also don't feel bad because they all used the same quote from James E. Faust. I am super excited for the 4th of July because I have neighbors who have been stockpiling there fire works. So while I am inside I can still see fire works. 👍🏻🎆. We also had exchanges this week after Zone Conference and I had a pretty good time. Pretty eventful day but it was fun. It started with us going back to the apartment in the Winchester area dropping off our stuff and going street contacting. We found 2 new potentials which hasn't been done because that area has been tracted our too many times so that was a good time. Then it started getting late so we started back. When we got back we found that one of the locks on the door were locked and we didn't have a key. So we spent 30 minutes trying to break into this apartment. I climbed on the roof to see if a window was open and it wasn't so that was frustrating. But I was reminded that the lord sends you to the places where your talents are needed. And this is my second time having to climb up to the second floor to try to get in a apartment so I think that is a talent. 😂. I also found a VR headset in there apartment and they gave it to me. So that's good. Also there are so many tanks in Indiana it's amazing. And there is a city in our area called Mooreland. I like it. Also since it's spring time more animals are coming out so we found a turtle yesterday. But since this is one of my last emails in the OCM I have to send an email of my testimony to the Welch's to put in their scrapbook. I got to meet my new mission president this week. He is a good man from what I have heard and I am excited to be in his mission. That's basically it from this week. We had two investigators at church last Sunday. They are progressing extremely well and we are planning on committing them to be baptized next month. So pray that they seek the inspiration to do so please. But other than that I should email the Welch's because that will take a minute. Talk to yall later. Bye!

6/11/2018 Week 32: Thunderstorms Are Scary
Good week. I nearly died in a thunder storm. It was so bad we couldn't get to our car. So we debated staying the night at the church. Eventually we decided to bolt for the door. Probably not the greatest idea but I'm still here aren't I? So we ran about 20 feet full speed to the car being pelted with hail and water. We get in the car and we are drenched with water. Then my companion asked, "did we lock the doors" I said yes. He gets out and goes to check and comes back after it was indeed locked.
Then a few days ago we went to a baptism in one of my companions old areas so that was a 2 hour drive round trip but I didn't mind because we got a ride. But it was fun. And Arby's has good Gyros. And the meat. Originally Tim was gonna drive us home but a problem came up so we got a ride from somebody else.
Last story because my battery is gonna die. I caught a frog. And by caught I mean it landed on our wind sheild when we were driving home. So I caught it and thus we have a picture below.

6/4/2018 Week 31: Hello From New Castle, IN
I hate the house I am currently living in, it is full of mold. By the way for those of you who didn't know I am in a different area now. My address is 1202 Webster Ave, New Castle, IN. I got emergency transfered because my last wards bishop was a... problem. And he complained and got us kicked out of the ward. So those progressing investigators which I learn to love and trust I might never see again. The thought of that actually made me cry. I grew close to these people and because of this some of these people might never progress further. But other than that this week was good. I got pictures. I am sitting next to a full Hoosier in the library. Let me describe him to you. Have you ever seen a person with so much back hair that even without a shirt he is still wearing a sweater. yep. Bald top with ponytail that goes to his sagging pants with no underwear in sight. Beard that blends with the sweater. Boom you have a Hoosier. That kinda got a little to descriptive. Hopefully he cant see my screen. lol😂. Only in Indiana can you not make any of this up. But other than that, the house I am living in is a pig pen. Mold on the walls and in the floor. Air conditioner in one room and 90% humidity outside. I get to go to the Temple in 2 weeks with the good members of my last area. I am excited about that. Its a beautiful temple from what I have heard. I have plenty of time to email I hope because my companion hasn't started yet. Also the members of this ward are great. They actually work. I am not constantly having to try to keep everything afloat. Also Earlier today we got a call from a random stranger and he basically expressed to us how he wants to turn his life around and be baptized. So we are meeting with him later tonight. Miracles. This is what happens when you have members pray because he was speaking highly about the member family whose house we ate at earlier yesterday and asked to pray about missionary opportunities. I am starting to run out of things to write. I guess if there are any questions for me than let me know and email me. Other wise this is all I have for today. Talk to yall later. Bye.
