1/28/2019 Week 65: What Is A Potato's Favorite Game?

Hash-tag. I am thankfully not being transferred from this area. I like it in Kokomo. This week was as I expected a week of hard work. I have noticed that if you get a baptism in your area then the area has a big dry spell and the only thing you can do is finding new people to teach. Its fine because we are always finding but it just feels a little more tedious. Something interesting this week was we were driving and I saw a sign for a pet store that has some baby alligators and now I am curious to go in and see if the sign is true. I don't think its legal to own one anywhere else. My mission is truly one of a kind I guess. I have been thinking a lot lately on how I can improve these emails and I keep being brought back to the idea of a spiritual though. The problem was I could never think of what to write about for it, but I decide to do it about each point in the lessons. So in each email at the bottom I will do a spiritual thought until I run out.
God is our loving Heavenly Father:
God is our loving Father, he cares about us in ways that we won't understand until we return to live with him. Since He is our Father we can always know that we are each His children. Though at times this doesn't feel true we can gain comfort for why he gives us trials. As I have probably referenced before, Hebrews 12:6; 10, " For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. ... For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness." This example lets us know the amount of love God has for us. And since we are His children and He loves us so much He has given us the ability and choice to become as He is. Just as a parent would He gives us an instruction to help us to improve, but as a parent He realizes that we will make mistakes so He created a plan to help us all. I know that these things are true, I have prayed and read to find this to be true as well and I can promise without a doubt that these things are indeed true.

1/21/2019 Week 64: What Kind Of Phone Needs Gas?

An Auto Mobile. This was a good week. We had the baptism which was great. We had people fly in to the baptism. We had 2 missionaries that served here last year and then one sister that served here 21 years ago. It was a good experience for everyone and the food afterwards was delicious. Then earlier in the the week we had exchanges and I got to go to lafayette. It was nice being in an even more big city. We mainly tracted but thats to be expected. But they also had a pizza place that I havent been to for a while so we got some pizza. Then earlier then that we had zone conference this week and that was crazy because the amount of snow this week made it a very long 1 hour drive. But it was worth it. Thats all for this week. Bye.

1/14/2019 Week 63: Why Did The Kid Bring A Net To Bed?

To catch some Z's. Hello once again everyone. This week was a good week like most. Full of finding. We finished the lessons for our investigator and now he is ready to be baptized this Sunday. Cant say I did anything in the process of teaching but I am happy that he is ready to join the church and make his first covenant towards eternal life. The only other notible this that happened this week was the snow storm this weekend. On Saturday it snowed 8 inches so that was really exciting. The city was not prepared for how much snow so it took a minute to clear the roads. We were told by the mission president to not use the cars or bikes until we think its safe enough conditions. We ended up walking most the day and gave up and drove to an appointment. It was a scary ride. Every turn was a drift. It was a blast. It was fun playing with the icicles. We live on the top floor so we just opened the window and they were right there.

1/7/2019 Week 62: What Cereal Does A Snowman Eat?

Snow flakes. Hello. This week was an average week in Kokomo. Just helping people progress and finding. We are really only teaching one person who is progressing. He is getting baptized on the 20th. He has been being taught for 23 years and has finally decided to be baptized. Missionaries that taught him are flying in from everywhere for the baptism. We had interviews at the beginning of the week. That was a very confusing car ride. We dont have the greatest gps and I was the navigator, so all in all we got a little lost. Then we came back home after and did our normal thing. The next day we had exchanges. It was fun. I went on Exchanges with our District Leader. Still was a normal day of finding though. We had Wendys and it made us sick so I feel a little betrayed. But thats my week. Sorry for theshort email. Bye!

12/31/2018 Week 61: What Do Elves Study In School?

The elf-abet. Hello everyone. This week was fun. It keeps raining but still fun. I got to skype my family  this week. That was fun. Always good to hear there voices occasionally or else I would go insane. On Thursday we blitzed the area with the Zone leaders which was fun and everything because they have to go to other areas since they are college campus missionaries so all the people that they would teach are on vacation visiting home so they have to come here or other areas or else they would be doing anything. We also switched cars with them so they can have more foot room in there car. Because apparently the RAV 4 has less room than the ford fusion. I like the car and everything but they gave us the car when the gas was low and the gas card was messed up. So the mission is giving us money for the money we used from our MSF to put gas in our car. cool. Then later in the week I found a RC car without a remote and went to a thrift store and bought a remote control and it works so now I have a RC car that was $3. Worth it. No pictures this week. I keep forgetting to take a picture of every door we knock on because that is the only thing we really do. Maybe we will go to the mall in our area. There might be something interesting there. But thats all for this week. sorry for the short email again. Bye.
