10/7/2019 Week 101: 2 More Days!

The time has come. First I would like to start of by saying if anyone for some reason wants to email me still, my new email is cdm11376656@gmail.com. This week was a great week though with General Conference. My favorite talk was President Oakes talk in the first session. If you are interested go read it. My mom said this better be a great last email but I am not sure if I can do that😂. I will try. I have been thinking a lot about the last 2 years from the good to the bad to the mediocre. Last week in the temple I decided to read 3 Nephi 11 because that's when Christ came to the America's and I teared up reading the first verse where it said that they marveled at the changes that had occurred. And I related to that personally because at that moment the Lord blessed me to remember, forgive, and cherish every single millisecond of time that I had. I know that I have experienced the greatest joy of my life and nothing will surpass it until I am married and have kids. Even the times that I suffered in the negative degree cold with a bad companion, every 30 min to an hour long bike ride in 90° degree weather, every car drive, every walk, every bus, every contentious lesson I would give all I have to experience again. I love my mission and I love the people and I love God more. I have given a 10th of my life so I can help others change theirs. I will always remember the smiling faces and tear filled sincere prayers. That will be in my heart till the day I die and even on to eternity. Thanks for all the support and emails for the last 2 years. I needed them the whole time. Talk to you all soon. BYE!

10/2/2019 Week 100 (Part 2): Temple Day

Hello everyone. Sorry I didn't email on Monday we moved our pday to today so we could go to the temple. This last week was good though we had zone conference and it was a mission tour so Elder Bassett of the 70 came out and talked to us. The I went on exchanges in a trio companionship with the zone leader and district leader so that was a blast. Then yesterday we put someone on date for baptism. I won't be there but I don't need to be. They progress at there own speed and I am just happy they are making the commitment to grow. I had a departing interview with the mission president yesterday as well which was okay. Just talked about my plans and how I will reach them. All in all this week has proven to be a part of a great conclusion to my mission. I have been able to learn a lot and one of those things is to accept when the time is right to let others take the preverbal reigns. Though I will still be a missionary in heart and mind I will be able to progress like the people I have met. I think I am ready to go home honestly. I remember my call said a period of 24 months, no more no less and I have been able to accomplish that. Talk to yall later. Bye

9/30/2019 Week 100 (Part 1): 9 Days Left
