Okay all bad jokes behind. Hello. How are you. Good. My week was pretty good a couple things happened this week.
I got another free bike which is good, funny story. So since I was using a bike that was owned to a previous missionary I didn't need to buy one. But then the mission found out I had it and took it from me even though I was using it. I mean it was a pretty bad bike considering there are a lot of pot holes here and the bike didn't have shocks so I felt everything. But the missionary who owned it left it here because he knew this area needs bikes even though it contains mostly large hills. Anyways they took it without and advance notice, and left me without a bike which I didn't mind but then when one of the areas around me was offered a bike they said to give it to us so I got another one now, just as bad if not worse then the last but I don't care.
Also since all my replies to the last email asked about the geese I will give an update. The geese are no longer coming towards the door since I put down salt since I am a genius.. But they have moved to a different part of the parking lot and made there nest and laid eggs. We had to fence off the area around where they were so no cars park near and kids get bit. Now the eggs have hatched and there are little goslings waddling around, I need to name them still.
We are finally getting rid of the couches in the apartment and in the process we turned one on its front so I don't lay on it. Those couches are gross, I didn't really expect someone would want them, but they do. Its crazy.
Also this month I have found 107 pennies on the ground. I guess people here think that pennies are the most useless form of money like I do because when they go outside they just throw them. I am going to buy a pizza with them when I get 600 pennies. They are useless really.
Also I think I have found the reason why the mission feels like it goes so fast. So before my mission I measured my years that to the school year so it would be slow because it was a long time, but on the mission you measure your time by every transfer, 6 weeks, so obviously 6 weeks would feel shorter that about 9 months. I am a genius. So Smart.😂. But in reality you just don't look at the time like that anymore because you are so busy you don't have time to think of time other then a reminder of where to go when.
The work is going well, we have a few new investigators who are wanting to learn and willing to keep commitments. So that's good. That family of 9 I emailed about a few weeks ago moved so that was interesting, and our only truly committed investigator we gave to the sister missionaries in our ward because we aren't able to meet with her a whole lot so we had to move on so she could progress better, but we do still stay in contact with her.
Also I don't know if I ever posted this but our mission this summer is absorbing to other stakes because the Cleveland Ohio mission is being dissolved so we will be getting the West Dayton Stake and the Toledo Stake, which means my mission has the possibility of covering in 4 different States. I am already serving in both Kentucky and Ohio technically because my ward boundaries barely go past the Ohio Kentucky border. So yeah that's pretty cool.
That is all for this week I guess. Talk to y'all next week. Bye
